Archiving

Archived in the U.S. at The State Historical Society of Wisconsin, The Labadie Collection, and The Anarchy Archives. Archived in Europe at the Kate Sharpley Library

Practical Anarchy is an anarchist zine dedicated to finding ways to put anarchy into practice today. We don't subcribe to any particular camp within anarchism, but we seek an anarchy which is anti-capitalist, anti-state, pro-environment, feminist, anti-racist, and anti-classist.

Subscriptions

U.S. subscriptions are available for $12 for 4 issues. Canadian subscriptions are available for $13 for 4 issues. International subscriptions are available for $16 for 4 issues. Free to anarchist libraries and archives.

Make checks payable to Chuck Munson.

Prisoner subscriptions

Practical Anarchy is free to prisoners who request it in writing. Subscriptions are not available to prisoners--you must request each issue.

Samples

A copy of Practical Anarchy is available for $3 or an equivalent amount in stamps. Do not send an SASE. We can send it in an envelope if you specify, but let us take care of the envelope.

Bookstore/Infoshop sales

Please write to us for details. Standard consignment terms for independent bookstores and infoshops. Chain bookstores must pay the full cost up front, 'cause we don't want to get ripped off.

Trades

We trade only with other political magazines, zines, or journals. One issue for one issue. We appreciate zines on other topics, which may or may not get reviewed.

Reviewed zines

We will provide tear sheets of reviews for zine editors. On occasion, we may send you a full copy of this zine if we really liked your zine.

FAQ

How can I contribute to this zine?

Contributions in the form of of articles, letters, graphics, etc. are always welcome. We can't pay any money, but we can get your voice heard, if your contribution fits the flavor of this publication. We appreciate it if you can email materials to us--if you can't do that please send it on a PC-formatted floppy disk.

Can I get an email version of this zine mailed to me like before?

While we really appreciate all of the folks who subscribed to the email version of Practical Anarchy Online over the years, an email version won't be available right now. It is a possibility in the future after we work out the kinks in the web version. When an email version is available we'll publicize it, both at this site and on the anarchist and activist mailing lists.

Do you folks need money?

Yes. Please see our fund appeal on our home page.

Do you have the Anarchist Cookbook?

No, we don't have the infamous one and really don't want to help you find it. There is an effort to compile a cookbook with food recipes. If you find that interesting, then we can talk.
